GARY RING

Gary D. Ring, age 71, of Parkman, died Nov. 24, 2021. He was born in Albany, NY, the son of the late John E. and Jeanne L. (Galer) Ring, III.

Gary attended the University of Toledo from 1968 - 1971. In 1981, he married Bev, the love of his life. He graduated from the Hiram Police Academy in 1988 and became a Deputy Sheriff in Portage County. That year he and Bev also opened, and were part owners, of Tri-County Uniform, a specialty store in Garrettsville. He enjoyed playing drums and spending time in his woodworking shop. He was a kind and generous man, always helping family and friends when needed, and had such a quick wit and incredible sense of humor. He will be missed by all that he touched.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Beverly (nee Brady); brothers, David J. (Dawn) Ring, and Jeffrey B. (Alyce) Ring, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
