ROBERT SEAN GARBUTT

Rob S. Garbutt, age 50, of Medina, passed away on February 20, 2021. He was born on April 28, 1970 in Cleveland, OH to Robert Garbutt and Cheryl Collins.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Kathi (nee Wilmink) Garbutt; his children, Alec and Abigail Garbutt; his parents Robert (Susan) Garbutt, Cheryl Collins; his brother, Scott (Joy) Baer; his half siblings Mike, Stacey, and Gary; and his many extended family members and friends.

Rob was a proud father to his children and a great friend to many.  He would do anything for anyone.  Rob enjoyed spending time at his property in Ashtabula, riding his motorcycle, and hunting.  He also loved to cook and would invite everyone over to eat, oftentimes too much.  He cherished spending time with his family and friends, just hanging out and having a good time.

He is preceded in death by his half sister, Nancy Bregar.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256.   Rob’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington Street, Medina, OH 44256, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).  Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 785 E. Washington Street, Medina, Ohio .  Masks are required for all services and social distance protocols will be followed.
