ADAM SCHMIEDER

Adam Schmieder, age 88 of Lakeville, Ohio for 25 years, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Altercare of Wadsworth. Adam was born in Yugoslavia on December 10, 1927. He was employed before retiring as a punch press operator with Sheehan Industries for 35 years. Adam married Elisabeth (nee Kroeg) while living in Austria on June 23, 1947.

Adam will be dearly missed by his wife, daughter Ingeborg, (son-in-law Thomas Machor), son Frank, grandchildren; Mitchell (Paulette) and Benjamin (Nicole) Machor, Andrew and Rosemary Schmieder also 9 great-grandchildren, his sister Rosalia Krauter of Germany also nephew and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Johann and Theresia, son Emanuel, sister Maria and grandson Frank Schmieder.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Funeral Service on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10 AM also at the funeral home. Pastor John Lurtz officiating. Burial to follow in the City of North Royalton Cemetery, 6170 Royalton Road, N. Royalton, Ohio 44133.
