Agnes M. Buhrman (nee Habel), age 84 (she said 57), of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019. She was born in Cleveland on January 27, 1935 to the late Paul and Marie Habel (nee Schenosky).
Agnes was a member and Eucharistic Lay Minister of St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, past President of St. Ambrose Women’s Guild, member of the Isabella Guild, past President of St. Michael PTA, and past President of St. Michael Altar Rosary Society. She worked as Banquet Manager for Michaud’s Town & Country for many years.
She was a loving, open arms kind of mom, adored by her family and friends. Her family was her pride and joy, and she welcomed many into her loving circle.
She is survived by her loving children, Just Jeff (Donna) Buhrman, Thomas Buhrman, and Marsha (Donald) Kadlec; cherished grandchildren, Bryan, Lisa, Jason, Lindsey, Jake, Jesse, Cory, Cody, and Dawn; and cherished great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Halle, Jakoby, Kinsley, Franklin, Aria, Addilyn, Sawyer, and Jude.
Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Marvin Buhrman; and brother, Frank “Big Unk” Habel.
The family will receive friends for Visitation on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (1/2 mile south of Route 303). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Agnes at 11 AM on Friday, August 30, 2019 at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Family will receive visitors at Church 1 hour prior 10-11 AM. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Fr. Rob Ramser will officiate. Inurnment on a future date in St. Libory Cemetery, St. Libory, Nebraska.
