ALDA MAE SMELTZER

Alda Mae Smeltzer (nee Pearl), 76 of Brunswick went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at SW Hospice in Strongsville. She was born January 1, 1935 to James Patrick and Mildred Belle (nee McNickle) Pearl.
Alda Mae was a Homemaker and a resident of Brunswick for over 51 years. She loved to crochet, travel, play bingo and she was a champion marble shooter. She loved her family and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Gilbert E; children Kimala (Craig) Jenkins, Carl M. Reese Jr. (Sandra), Rodney (Christine) Reese, and stepson, Jeff L. Smeltzer; grandchildren; Tanya (John) Heyse, Craig Jenkins Jr., Carl M. (Ginevra) Reese III, Trisha Reese, Kyle Reese and Nicholas Reese; great grandchildren, Maxwell Heyse, Gabriella O’Grady and Madelaine O’Grady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Patrick Pearl Jr. and sister Jeanetta (Gary) Walther.
Friends may call on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
