ALLEN BRUCE MOYER

Allen (Al) Bruce Moyer, age 92, of Garrettsville, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. He was born on February 21, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio to Dwight and Clara (nee Hanus) Moyer.

Al worked for LTV Steel for 43 years. He was a World War II Veteran and a member of the VFW/American Legion. He loved to vacation at Chautauqua Lake. He had a kindness and compassion towards animals along with his direct and honest approach and witty sense of humor.

He will be missed by his daughter Lynn (Ray Wiget) Veres; daughter-in-law, Alison Holz; grandchildren, Joey Veres, Brandi (Jeff) Carter, and Jennifer Robinson, as well as his caring neighbors and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Evelyn of 50 years, and his son, Roy Holz.

Friends may join the family for visitation for Allen on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 8382 Center Street Garrettsville Ohio 44231. Funeral Service starts at 1:00 p.m. Facial coverings are required, and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Graveside Service will follow immediately at Park Cemetery, Center Street & Brosius Road in Garrettsville, Ohio
