Photo: Obituary: Alvin Keneda Age 74, of Granger Township, Medina passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Hospice of Medina County. He was born on October 11, 1938 in West Virginia to Troy and Belva (nee Lester) Keneda.
Alvin served in the United States Marine Corps and was employed as a Program Specialist with the United States Postal Service. He served as President of the Cleveland West Side Lost Chord Club and volunteered for the 4th Angel Program at the Cleveland Clinic. He enjoyed his leisure time golfing and vegetable gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Alvin is survived by his loving daughters; Laura (Steven) Oleson and Alice (Bruce) Manners, grandchildren; Madeline, Mark, Mitchell, sisters; Geraldine (Terry) Harper and Phyllis Romeo.
Alvin will join his departed family; beloved wife Ruth (nee Cigahn) who passed away on March 7, 2010, his parents and brother-in-law Jim Romeo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM, with Funeral Service following at 11 AM with Pastor Elizabeth Hadler of Montrose Zion United Methodist Church Officiating at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Rt. 303) Brunswick, Ohio. Burial in Granger Fairview Cemetery.
