Andrea Lynne Phillips, age 52, of Medina, passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born on April 29, 1962 in Norfolk, Virginia to William and Rolinda (nee Armstrong) Dorsey.
Andrea was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Elmcroft and The Medina County Home. She enjoyed her special time with her family; fishing, horses and horse racing.
Andrea will be missed by her mother Rolinda (Robert) Dodd, children; Rebecca Lynne Phillips and Christina Anne Phillips, her grandchildren; Jasmine, Anastasia, Isiah Richard and her companion of 23 years Mike Hale also many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death her father, William Dorsey, brother, William “Rick” Dorsey and aunt Bernice Nagy.
Andrea’s cremains will be laid to rest with a Graveside Service on August 23, 2014 at 11 AM in River Road Cemetery (Indian Hollow Rd. just south of Rt. 303) in Lagrange, Ohio. Associate Pastor Brandon Keck of the Medina United Methodist Church will officiate prayers. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18) Medina, OH 44256 were entrusted with arrangements.
