ANGELO N DiMATTEO

Angelo N. DiMatteo passed away on Thursday November 6, 2014. He was born on August 2, 1930 in Garfield Heights, Ohio to Ralph and Jenny (Morgillo) DiMatteo.
Angelo was in sales with Hostess for more than 30 years and enjoyed his time working at Thistledown racetrack as a security officer. He loved the ponies, dancing, all sports, and really enjoyed watching his sports on TV with his remote.
Angelo is survived by his loving wife, Virginia (nee Heugel); children, David of Bedford, Ralph (Dawn) of Painesville, Jack (Joy) of Brecksville, and Gina of Northfield; grandchildren, Stephen, Emily, Samantha, Victoria and Jacob; and sister, Clara Perdina of Parma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rocky; sisters Mary, Connie and Betty.
Calling hours are Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2- 4 PM at MALLORY-DeHAVEN-CARLSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 8382 CENTER ST, GARRETTSVILLE, OH 44231. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 NOON on Monday November 10, 2014 at the funeral home with Fr. Steve Zeigler presiding. Burial will follow at Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Township, with military honors.
