Anna "Annie" Marie Rodgers, spread her wings to heaven on Saturday, February 5, 2022, while at home with her family and caregivers by her side.
She was a caring and lovable woman who, throughout her lifetime, devoted herself to her religion and the people around her. Her beautiful smile and laughter lit up our souls.
Those close to Annie saw her testimony and life story to be no different from that of Naomi from the Bible. Throughout the trauma and trials in life, Annie stood the test of time, using her gift of song to praise the Lord with a glowing smile on her face.
Annie's unwavering faith in her Heavenly Father, is the foundation upon which she's built her life. She loved to entertain, congregate, and celebrate. She beat to her own drum and cherished the many other fabulous drums that she surrounded herself with. In her younger years, Annie's free spirit was always up for adventure, and she was blessed by the many friends who joined her. She had a zest for life, lived simple over flashy and was deeply sentimental. With a passionate spirit, a determined grit, and a smile, she will be remembered as a brave warrior who embodied courage.
Though we know that our Heavenly Father is pleased to have one of his kind and generous angels back in his arms, where she belongs. She will be sorely missed by those on earth. Annie is survived by her nieces, Linda Rodgers, Donna Ryan, and JoAnn Daum. She also has many great niece and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Rose Lee Rodgers, brother, David, sister-in-law, Brenda and niece Renee Bedocs.
