Anna Louise Tate, 73, of Nelson Twp., passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. She was born September 26, 1936 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky.
Anna was a parishioner of the Garrettsville Church of God and a substitute custodian at James A. Garfield School District. She enjoyed watching sports, shopping, plants and flowers, and cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, John and Gregory (Sandra) of Nelson Twp. and Clifford of Warren; brothers, Bennett (Judy) Adkins and Kenneth (Vicky) Adkins , all of Tennessee; and Bill Adkins of Kentucky; sister, Arlene Damron of Kentucky; grandchildren, Gregory of Nelson, Michael of Mantua, Jennifer of Nelson Twp. and Tiffany of Howland; and great-grandchildren, Kaden and Brian Boggs of Howland, and Kesra Tate of Mantua.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Margie (Belcher) Adkins; husband, Raymond who died in 2007; sons, Richard, Thomas and Brian; brother, Russell and Roger Adkins; and sisters, Edith Boggs and Betty Grager.
Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Oh. 44231, where funeral services will be at 11 AM on Saturday with Rev. Kevin Crouch and Rev. Dreama Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Twp.
