ANNE SALIGA

Anne Saliga (nee Takac), age 94, of Medina, passed away on July 7, 2020. She was born on August 6, 1925 in Croatia to the late Stefan and Maria (nee Vuckic) Takac.

Anne enjoyed crocheting and baking, especially strudel. She was devoted to the Virgin Mary and prayed the Rosary faithfully.

She will be dearly missed by her loving children, John Saliga (Sally), Mario Saliga (Diane), and Ann Beckman (Douglas); her grandchildren, Marie Saliga, Michelle Volz, John Henry Saliga, Kimberly St. Phillips, and Allison Beckman; her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, and Robert Volz; and her brother, Janus Takac.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, John Saliga; and her siblings, Josip, Petar, and Katica Takac.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. Anne's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256, on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Masks will be required in the church (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.

Contributions may be made in Anne’s name to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
