Anthony “Tony” Attenson, 47, of Garrettsville, passed away on February 13, 2019 at his residence. He was born on June 5, 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio to Barry and Linda (Eppolito) Attenson.
Tony will be deeply missed by his father, step-mother Linnea (Purvis) Attenson, step-siblings, Corey (Meg) Recko and Hayley (Nicholas) Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gina (Waldeck); mother Linda and grandparents, Dr. Peter and Evelyn (Helper) Attenson, and Kathy Kelley.
Tony was a graduate of Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio and Kent State University. He loved to work out at the neighborhood gym, watch sports (especially the UFC), his Corvette and his employment at Kepich Ford in Garrettsville, Ohio.
Honoring Tony’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, 2 PM at Crownhill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s name to Kidney Foundation, https://www.kidney.org/support .
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
