Lover of books and collectibles, avid photographer, dedicated family man, guitar enthusiast, cheese maker, and winner of every trivia game he has ever played, our Tony will leave a hole in all our hearts.

Beloved husband of Joan (nee McGinnis); devoted father of Courtney (Quran) Phillips, and Kevin (Kalie) Kowal; loving grandfather of Taylor Anthony and Camille Ardeen; son of the late Paul and Theresa Kowal; brother of Joseph (Bernie) Kowal, Kathy Kowal; brother-in-law to Larry (deceased) (Connie, surviving), Janet Sheets (Ken), Beth Bakker (Clyde), and Becki Zakowski (Randy), Rick McGinnis (deceased); adoring uncle to Mark (Angie), Kelly, Kristy (Dan), Andrea (deceased), Nicole, Paul, Ricky (Leslie) Corinne, Tristan, Allison (Nick), Eric (Lindsey); great uncle to Eva, Zach (deceased), Alex, Bella, Basha, Lily, Emily, Trip, and Ella.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212, followed by a service in celebration of Anthony's life at 7:00 p.m.

Donations may be made in Anthony's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
