BARBARA A. BURNS

September 8, 1932 — June 10, 2018

Barbara Burns, 85, of Windham, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Steve and Anna George in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. She married Ray Burns in 1952.

She was a member of the United Congregational Church in Windham. Barb enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, casino trips, volunteering at the Salvation Army and Food Cupboard in Windham and spending time with her beloved family and friends.

Barb is survived by her daughters, Terri Gunnoe of Windham and Corrine Dineff of Newton Falls; grandson, Ryan Gunnoe; great granddaughter, Ella Gunnoe; siblings, Patty Flitcraft of Pickerington and Steve George of Alliance and many loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, 10 AM at the United Congregational Church, 9029 North Main St., Windham, Ohio 44288 with Pastor David Howell officiating. In honoring Barb’s wishes, please wear your brightest colors and bring your fondest memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barb’s name to the Salvation Army’s Northeast Portage Food Shelf, 9005 Wil Verne Drive, Windham, Ohio 44288.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
