Barbara J. Edder, 83, of Windham, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014. She was born June 1, 1930 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Doyle and Dollie Belle (Blose) Rowley.
Barb was employed at Geauga Industries in Middlefield for 30 years and at the Windham Library for ten years. She was active in the Windham Friday Club, the Windham Methodist Women’s Circle, the United Methodist Church and a choir member for over ten years. She was also affiliated with the Friends of Windham Library and the Salvation Army Food Cupboard. She loved reading and crafts.
Norris W. Edder, 85, of Windham, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014. He was born March 8, 1928 in Salina, Pennsylvania to George W. and Elsie M. (Stover) Edder. Norris was a Lab Technician at General Refractories in Warren for 38 years.
He was a member of Windham United Methodist Church. Norris was an avid golfer, bowler, and woodworker. They both cherished spending time with their family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
They are survived by their son, Brad (Marlene) Edder of Ravenna; daughters, Betty Diane (Charles) Ruth of Lexington, SC, and Susan Jean (Robert) Workman of North Canton; grandchildren Allison, Nathan ( Suzanne ), Adam, Tiffany ( Dan ), Amy ( Dave ), Nichole ( Anthony); great grandchildren Hunter, Hannah, and Jackson.
Barb is survived by her brother, Doyle (JoAnne) Rowley Jr. of PA. Norris is survived by sisters Phyllis J. Staniscia, Neila Grace Riggle, and Jeannine (John) Shoupe all of PA; and sister-in-law Shirley Edder of PA.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231 and Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 10-11 AM at church. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 11 AM at the Windham United Methodist Church, 9052 North Main St., Windham, OH 44288 with Pastor Lisa Kropinak officiating.
