BARBARA A. HOTES

Barbara A. Hotes, (nee Hummel), age 76, of Brunswick, passed away on Sunday December 6, 2020 at Avon Hospital. She was born November 29, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles and Veronica (Randolph) Hummel.

Our loving wife, mother and grandmother was an assembler at Lumitex Corporation, a candle maker at A.I. Root, an office manager at Trailer Leasing Corporation, an Avon Lady and a housemaker over her lifetime. She loved her family more than anything. She delighted in both her and her family's pets, reading, going to casinos and taking motorcycle rides with her husband. She loved life with a passion and will be dearly missed.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Arthur whom she married in 1965. She is also survived by her dear children, Deborah Waters (Brian), and Arthur III (Christine), and her four cherished grandchildren, Arthur IV, Amelia, Erin and Madison.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hummel, her mother, Veronica Randolph Hummel, and her sister, Patricia Rochford.

The family will receive friends for Barbara on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6-8pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (1/2 mile south of Rt 303). Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 in the funeral home at 11am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
