BENEDICT J. "BUTCH" BARCIKOSKI

Benedict J. "Butch" Barcikoski, 78, of Troy Township, joined his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 10, 2021, in Warren, Ohio. He was born on March 5, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Benedict L. and Frances C. (nee Fritz) Barcikoski.

He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. Butch loved the outdoors, traveling, reading and spending time with his family and pets. Butch was a gentle giant that embodied what it means to be humble and kind.

Butch will be deeply missed by his loving family, wife, Beverly; siblings, Paul (Mary) Barcikoski and Kathleen Smeltz, and many nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Martha and George; nephew, David Stefanek, and brother-in-law, Larry Smeltz.

Please join the family for a visitation to honor Butch's life, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, 11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church 16150 Center St, Parkman, OH 44080 with Fr. John T. Burkley officiating. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. A burial procession will commence immediately after mass on Thursday, December 16, 2021, to All Souls Cemetery at 10366 Chardon Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024, where Butch will be laid to rest.
