Bernadette (Bernice, Bea, and Baba) Tinnirello (Hollish) passed away on May 14, 2018 in Medina, Ohio due to complications with heart disease. She was 77.
Bea was born on October 3, 1940 in Lakewood, Ohio to her parents, George and Justine (nee Sikora) Hollish. She graduated from the Lourdes Academy in 1959. She married Thomas (Tom) Tinnirello on October 5, 1963. The Tinnirellos moved to Medina, Ohio in 1976. Bea worked as an office manager for companies such as Alpo, Akron Hospital, and the City of Wadsworth. She retired in 2010 and dedicated her remaining time to her family and grandchildren.
Bea was a loving and supportive wife, mother, Baba, aunt, and friend. She was known for her openness and honesty. A wild mix of sass, spunk, and fun with a touch of stubbornness best described her. She took great pride in her family and reveled in her role as Baba to her grandchildren.
Bea is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Tinnirello of Medina, Ohio; her son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Sonya Tinnirello of Conroe, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law, Jorge (Jay) and Nicole Tinnirello of Greenwood, Indiana; her brother, Carl Hollish; her brother, Ron Hollish; and five grandchildren, Thomas, Lia,
Dominic, Tony, and Sara.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Tinnirello, and her brother, George Hollish.
Bea was cremated on May 15, 2018, and will be inurned at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery with her husband Tom at a later date. A memorial mass will take place on Saturday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Medina, Ohio. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place afterwards at 11:30am at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Bea’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the American Heart Association or Saint Francis Church.
