Bernice M. “Berrie” Butrick, 81 of Nelson, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna.
Berrie was a jewelry designer, well known in the area for “Beads by Berrie.” She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Red Hts. She taught beading at “Quilters Fancy” in Cortland.
Berrie is survived by her husband Herbert, sons, Daniel (Betty Jean) of Ashville, NC, James of St. Petersburg, FL and Kevin of ; daughters, Diana Marie (Thomas) Bajzek of PA, Donna Lee Messer of TX and Dale (David) MacGregor of Brisbane, Australia; brother, Kenny of TX; sisters, Yvonne (Jim) Bowers of Cleveland and Tina Proffit of TX; 15 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Irene (Dzanek) Lutz.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10 AM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
