Bethel S. Treece

: : Photo: Obituary: Bethel S. Treece 70, passed away at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Athens, Ohio to David and Eleanor (nee Cox) Jackson on October 16, 1941. She married James Treece on December 28, 1961 and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities. She attended Medina First Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano, loved music, reading and Bible study. She will be greatly missed by her husband, daughter Susan (Ronald) Bayne, son Andrew (Bethany), grandchildren, Katie, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Emily, Ryan, Kristen and great-grandson James, brother David (Linda) Jackson, sister Sarah Jackson, and many other family members and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5 to 8 PM and 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Tuesday, July 31st at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Rd. (Rt. 18 and River Styx Rd) Medina, Ohio. Funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Max Rodas at 11:30 AM following Tuesday’s visitation. Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
