Betty Hovan, 90, of Middlefield, Ohio, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was born in Junction City, Ohio, on July 18, 1931, to the late John and Edith (nee Bass) Guisinger.
She went to school at Ohio School for the Deaf, where she met her late ex-husband, John. Betty was a longtime resident of Garfield Heights, Ohio, where she raised four children. She worked at the Cleveland United States Post Office for 25 years.
Betty will be deeply missed by her children, Tony Hovan and Cheryl (Bryon) Petti; grandchildren, Tommy (Kayla Martin) Lambert and Tammy (Chuck) Adkins; great grandchildren, Tabatha, Francine, and Charlene Adkins; siblings, Dale (Shelve) Guisinger, Marianna Mokros, and Bernice Guisinger, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved children John Hovan, Jr., and Alice Lambert, and ex-husband, John Hovan.
