BETTY L. MARCOVY

Betty L. Marcovy, 96, of Mayfield Heights, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 20, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sidney and Dorothy Arnold.

She was a librarian at Superior Elementary School in East Cleveland for many years. Betty enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling, knitting, cooking and baking. She loved and was devoted to her family.

Betty is survived by her children, Tim (Mary) and Corinne (Mark); grandchildren, Carrie (Craig), Patricia (Damien), Meaghann (Scott), Aaron (Naomi), Chris (Emily) and Joseph (Courtney); great grandchildren, Bronwynne, Thea, Jack, Daniel, Cade, Briggs and Claire; sister, Marjorie and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; daughter, Deborah and brother, Donald.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Betty at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1-5 PM. Chapel Service and Inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9-11 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 26200 Aurora Road, Bedford Heights, Ohio 44146.
