BEVERLY MAE CARTER

Beverly Mae Carter, age 90 of Medina, passed away on September 8, 2024.

She was born on October 11, 1933, in East Cleveland to Alfred and Dorothy (Dunn) Jones. She graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1952. She was an entrepreneur and owned several small businesses. Beverly was a Life Master Bridge player. She enjoyed doing puzzles and playing board games with her family. Beverly was an avid Browns fan. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Medina. 

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Carter, son, David Carter, and sister-in-law, June Jones.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Michael (Michelle Reyes) Carter, Jami (Robert) Wyrick, and Dorothy (Richard) Gingue, daughters-in-law, Lucinda Carter and Sherrie Carter, grandchildren, Michelle (Jamie) Frohne, Melissa (Christopher) Gray, Matthew (Lorrie) Carter, Rachel (Michael) Ziman, Kelsey Carter, Jordan (Nathan) Szynal, Madison Carter, Abbey (Nathaniel) Haas, Cassandra Wyrick, Sonya Wyrick, Maxwell Gingue, Natalie Gingue, Lindsey Gingue, Zachary Gingue, great-grandchildren, Gus, Marissa, Spencer, Iris, Penelope, Daisy, Elliot, Aubrey, Chloe, Kinsley, and Albie, brothers, Allen (Pat) Jones, and Bruce Jones, sister-in-law, Barbara Rak, and Godson, George (Becky) Rak, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may come to call on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10:30-12 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. Funeral services to follow at 12 p.m. Burial at Eastlawn Memory Garden in Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Village of St. Edwards in Wadsworth, 880 Main Street, Wadsworth, Ohio.
