Bill E. Cremeans, age 83 passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017 surrounded by his immediate family. He was born on July 10, 1934 in Peach Creek, West Virginia. He was the devoted son of Ezra and Mae (nee Privett) Cremeans.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor (nee Adams) of 62 years who he together shared a most wonderful and caring relationship. He is also survived by his brother, Don (Wilma) Cremeans and his sister, Carolyn (Ernie) Petrovich. He was the father of Michael (Jeannie),
Richard (Nancy), Gary (Jeanne) and Kim (Scott) Tuchek; grandfather of Justin
(Heidi Homchik-Fiancee’), Matthew (Kirstie), Megan (Rob Binnie), Alissa (Vince) Sitkowski, Michaela (Josh) Fegan, Jillian and Josie Cremeans; great-grandfather of Oliver, Ezra and Peyton also uncle and great-uncle to many.
He was the model of honesty, loyalty, integrity and perseverance. His faith was the foundation of his life. In Matthew 25:21 we read “His Master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master’s happiness!” To say the very least, our faithful servant will be sorely missed. Bill was a member of Lodi Community Church and a United States Veteran of the Air Force. He was employed until his retirement as a foreman at the Parma Chevy Plant. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Also, Visitation 9 to 10 AM before the Funeral Service at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Pastor Tom O’Connell Officiating. Burial to follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.
