Billie L. Miller 82, of Litchfield passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Hospice of Medina County. He was born in Lost Creek, WV on February 6, 1930 to Elic Silvestor Miller and Grace (nee Tharp).
Mr. Miller was a Veteran of Korea and WWII wounded in action, serving in the United States Navy. He was employed by the Murphy Motor Freight Company as a Truck Driver. His memberships include the VFW Post 9520 in Brunswick, Ohio and VFW Post 3345 in Strongsville, Ohio.
Surviving him is his wife Rosa (Nee Stump) of 58 years, children, Sandra (Charles) Coventry of Cleveland, Randy Lee Miller of Cleveland, William “Billy” Miller of Litchfield, Suzzanne (Rick) Mackin of Madeira Beach, FL, his grandchildren; Chuck (Amanda) Coventry of Bakersfield, CA, Lisa (Vince) Johnston of Cleveland, Danielle (Shane) Slaughter of FL, Andrew Miller of Cleveland, Jerad Miller of Brunswick, Nathan Elic Miller of Middleburg Hts, Matthew Strzala of Parma, Melisa Mulder of GA., Kerrianne (Dan) of Fedulchak, Westland, MI., Robert Mackin and Myles Mackin of FL, Rick Mackin II, Brandy Mackin and Nonnie Mackin all of Parma also many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stepfather Olen Gregory and sister Joy Lee Sears.
Family invites friends for visitation to be held at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home 155 McGraw Ave. Webster Springs, WV on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will also be at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 1 PM. Burial in Miller Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster Springs, WV. Family arrangements were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of Rte 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio.
