BONITA "GAIL" CHAPLIN

Bonita Gail Chaplin (nee Stephens), age 68, of Litchfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021. She was born on April 16, 1953, at Medina, Tennessee, to Buford and Nellie (nee Davis) Stephens.

She loved bird watching, watching deer, was an amazing cook, a great woman of her faith, enjoying singing as well. She graduated from Medina High School in 1971, and was, the Valedictorian of her class.

Gail is survived by her loving husband Tim Chaplin, son James Chaplin, daughter Emily Chaplin, brother Larry (Theresa) Stephens, nephew Larry (Tammy) Stephens Jr., and niece Starla Young
.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Cory Michael.

Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation for Gail on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Litchfield United Church of Christ, 3928 Avon Lake Rd., Litchfield, Ohio 44253. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation. Inurnment will take place in Medina, TN later, where she will be laid to rest beside her mom and dad.

The family suggests donations in Gail's name will be graciously accepted by the Medina Battered Woman's Shelter, 120 W. Washington St., Medina, Ohio 44256. Arrangements for Gail were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd. Medina, OH 44256.
