Brian E. “Big Sexy” King Sr., 43, of Freedom, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1968 in Davenport, Iowa to Thomas and Dorothea (Kropp) King.
He was employed as a tow motor operator at L’Oreal in Streetsboro/Solon.
He was a NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhart Jr. was his favorite driver. He especially loved his family, cooking, grilling, and making everybody laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa King of Freedom (The love of his life); son, Brian Jr. of Windham; daughter, Raechelle of Arizona; step-sons, Brenton Broemsen of Garrettsville and Gage Broemsen of Deerfield; brother, Bradley (Judy) King of Akron; sisters, Belinda King of Streetsboro and Barbara Chipps of Windham; step-sister, Betty Jean Jones of West Virginia; grandchildren, Skyeler Tallent and Keaghan Stamper; nieces and nephews, Salena King, Alexis Mae, Isabella Rain and Christopher Chipps; and father and mother-in-law, Fred and Shirley Brock, and many beloved friends.
Calling hours are 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
