Brian M. Redmond, age 80, of Medina passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born on December 12, 1941, in Quebec, Canada to Maurice and Loretta (nee Campbell) Redmond.
He loved to spend time with his family, and was a true outdoorsman. In his spare time, he loved reading about World War II history, and doing yardwork. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Parents of Priests, South Cuyahoga Sportsman's Association, lifetime member of Trout Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, and a past Commander of the Berea Sail & Power Squadron.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Karen; daughter, Karen (Craig Loudermelt) Redmond, and son, Mark (Jennifer) Redmond; grandchildren Capt. John-Connor (Cailynn) Redmond, US Army, and Cullen Redmond; sister Anne Saucedo; brothers Patrick, Ian, and Hugh Redmond, and furry grand-animals: Minne, Katie, Penny, and Lia.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Loretta Redmond, loving wife Joan Redmond, son Fr. Daniel Redmond, and sister Mary Wubbold.
Friends may join the family for visitation for Brian on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd, (Corner Rt 18 & River Styx) in Medina, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 606 E Washington Street, Medina, Ohio. Interment will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Valley City.
Donations will be graciously accepted by the American Cancer Society in memory of Brian.
