Bruce MacMeans, age 78, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was born on August 25, 1943, to the late Marshall and Helen (nee Young) MacMeans in Bedford, Oh.
He worked in the steel industry for 20 years and most recently at Home Depot in Medina. Bruce was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society in Independence. A good husband and loving father. Bruce and Dolores loved traveling.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Dolores; children, Robyn (Scott) Stohlman, Heather (Edward) Deblock, Scott MacMeans, Alan MacMeans; step-children, Lisa (Kevin) O'Dougherty and Laura (Chris) Bolton; grandchildren, Zachary (Kayla) Skoczen, Tyler Skoczen, Devyn Skoczen, Emily Skoczen, Bryce (Jolaina) Deblock, Carter (Halle) Deblock, Jayden Deblock, Stephan MacMeans, Isabelle MacMeans, Patrick (Maggie) O'Dougherty, Elise (Nick) Talarico; great grandchildren, Bear Skoczen and Marie Deblock; and brother, Dennis (Marcy) MacMeans.
Please join the family for visitation on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am in St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Road, Valley City. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am. The MacMeans family has entrusted Bruce's care to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brunswick.
