Photo: Obituary: Carl F. Nagel 87, of Naples, FL. passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Hospice of Medina County. Carl was born on April 6, 1925 to Carl and Gertrude (nee Klaus) Nagel . Carl proudly served in WWII in the United States Army and was honorably the recipient of the Purple Heart. He will be remembered as a devoted Husband, Father and a strong family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Louise (nee Petras); loving children, Diane (Marty) Burden, Carl (Dana), David (Jodie) Laurie (Tory) Vollick; Dear grandchildren, Tiffany, D.J., Eric, Raines, Reagan, Karen, Sarah Jane, Michael, Mary, Aidan and Ava; brother, Frederick (Helen) Nagel. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marge Docherty and grandson, David Gregory. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, Ohio followed by interment of cremains at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Fr. Tony Sejba officiating. (PLEASE MEET AT THECHURCH).
