CARLA M TAMBLYN

Carla Marie Tamblyn (nee Phares), age 59, of Akron, OH, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. She was born on June 13, 1962, in Norwalk, IL., to Carl and Grace (nee Temple) Phares.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren Shane Tamblyn, Jr., Fiona Tamblyn, and Spencer Tamblyn. Carla was proud to be a Homemaker and was a member of Heartland Community Church.

Carla is survived by her loving husband Charles Tamblyn; sons Shane (Ashley Melillo) Tamblyn, Shawn Bolinger and Wilford Bolinger; grandsons Anthony Hodgkinson, Hayden Tamblyn, Shane Tamblyn Jr., Spencer Tamblyn; granddaughter, Fiona Tamblyn; and parents, Carl and Grace Phares.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Jenifer Mansberry.

Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation for Carla on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Heartland Community Church, 3400 Weymouth Rd., Medina, Ohio 44256. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation, 3477 Medina, Rd., Medina Ohio.

Donations will be graciously accepted by Carlson Funeral Homes in Medina, OH to assist the family with funeral costs.
