Carlene H. Whelan age 72, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away at Southwest General Health Center Hospital on August 17, 2013. She was born on May 12, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Karl and Helen (nee Adamcik) Stuble. Carlene loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time gardening and playing Scrabble.
She leaves behind her son, David, grandchildren; Rebekkah and Joshua, sisters; Dorothy (LeRoy “Bud”) Williams, Theresa (James) Chmielewski, and Karen (George) Kupchik.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Rt. 303) Brunswick, Ohio. Also Visitation from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 1 hr. prior to Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM at St. Ambrose Parish Church 929 Pearl Road Brunswick, Ohio. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial to follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
