CARLOS E. ADKINS SR.

Carlos E. Adkins Sr., age 78, of Brunswick, passed away joining his beloved wife Betty, on October 14, 2015. He was born July 15, 1937 in Gordon, West Virginia to the late Willard and Grace (nee Pauley) Adkins.

Carlos loved spending time with his family and they were his #1. Carlos enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting cars and especially loved his Cadillac. He was a handy man and enjoyed working in the yard and garden. He was also a member of the Teamsters.

Carlos will be dearly missed by his children, Carlos Jr. (Angela), Debra Schroeder; brother, Richard (Linda) Adkins; grandchildren, Joe Schroeder, Gina (Rob) Simpson; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Zachary.

Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty; his parents; and four brothers.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 10 to 11 am at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Greg Davis is officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.
