Carol E. James, 83, of Garrettsville, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. She was born on January 30, 1939, in McKeesport, PA, to the late John and Pearl (nee Shoop) Baer.
She worked at Brady's Leap Plaza on the Ohio Turnpike for over 35 years. Carol enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, working on word search puzzle books, and watching the news.
Carol will be deeply missed by her children, Jim (Gerry) James, David (Pam) James, John (Chris) James, and Donna (Todd) Williams; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald G. James; first-born granddaughter, Sara Dawn James, and her brothers, Johnny Baer and Roy Baer.
Per Carol's wishes, she is to be cremated and inurned at a later date beside her beloved Donald in Windham Township Cemetery. Services for Carol are private and were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
