Carol A. Rienerth, (nee Kovalik), age 78, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at her home surrounded by family.
Carol was born on February 13, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Stephen and Anna R. (nee Bartinelli) Kovalik.
The Rienerth’s moved to Brunswick in 1962, opening Donutland with her husband William “Bill” in 1972. She enjoyed being active in community events with all their friends. Carol also enjoyed bowling at Dick Hoover’s and at Tournaments, singing, traveling, loved playing cards with family and friends. Carol was a huge and dedicated Cleveland Indians Fan.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband William “Bill” of 58 years; cherished son, William Jr. “Billy”; many nieces and nephews; loving grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Rienerth; great grandchildren, Malorie and Abriana Kurilec; and brother in laws, Frank Paterniti, Thomas Carlin, Lou (Pat) Rienerth and Bob (Diane) Helmerich. Carol recently rejoiced when told about a great great grandchild being on the way.
She was preceded in death besides her parents, her sisters, Jeanette Paterniti and Elaine Carlin.

Funeral services will be private during this pandemic time. A celebration of life for Carol will take place at a later date. The Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick were entrusted to handle the arrangements.
