Photo: Obituary: Carol M. Theys, age 72, of Montville Township passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was born April 30, 1941 to Edward and Helen (nee Walther) Harvanec in Cleveland, Ohio. Carol and Felix were married and raised their 4 children. They loved to travel. Carol enjoyed reading, gardening, painting and sharing her amateur interior decorating skills with her family. She was a member of South Point Community Church. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Felix, son Scott (Nancy), daughters; Debbie (Kevin) Herbert, Kristen (Daniel) Cesareo, Amy (Adam) Weills, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild with 1 on the way, mother Helen, brothers; Ray and Larry (Donna) Harvanec, sisters; Arlene Harvanec, Joanne (Al) Linden. She is preceded in death by her father. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM and Friday, July 26, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio. Funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Friday also at the funeral home. Pastor Douglas Aey celebrant. Burial following in Poe Cemetery.
