CAROLINE " CAROL" ANN FEREK

Caroline “Carol” Ann Ferek passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2016. The part of Carol that she gave most freely was the part that gave out first. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was 87 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolina and John and husband Jack. She is survived by her three children; John, Jacquelyn and Carolyn; grandchildren, John Ferek and Jean Sekerak; great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Sandy; also her sister, Theresa Lewis.

She had many careers in her life, but blissfully put motherhood at the top. Carol was a very devoted caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the strength of our family. Our lives will be forever changed because of the absence of her body and spirit in this world.

She also leaves behind many dear friends at the Strongsville Senior Center. Carol was an active member at the center and enjoyed playing bingo, scrabble, Mah-Jongg and taking bus trips. The friends and staff at the center were very important to her as she considered them family.

Carol was always a very positive person who never put herself first. It was always about helping someone else. She was very loving and giving, and was the happiest when she was helping others. This wonderful earthy angel will be greatly missed by family and friends.
