She was born on October 13, 1950 in Parsons, WV to Earl and Muriel (nee Snyder) Simmons. Carolyn loved her family and grandchildren, was an avid reader and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She worked as a cashier at True Value. Carolyn is survived by her husband Michael; children: Mary (Carl) Wilson, Michael Jr. (Carrie) Jacob; brothers: Dale (Genie) Simmons and Lonnie (Judy) Simmons; grandchildren: Ashley and Jacob Wilson and Michael Ryder Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents.
