Charles R. Gazso entered into rest on April 12, 2013 at home in Brunswick, OH surrounded by his family. He was born on September 11, 1938 in Cleveland, OH to Joseph and Clara (nee Schidlowski) Gazso.
Charles was proud to have served five years as a Sergeant in the Ohio Army National Guard. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and served as a Past Faithful Navigator of Joseph Bender, and Grand Knight of Council #4847.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl (nee Millett); children, Kathleen (Frank) Conorozzo, Deborah (Carl) Beatty, Patricia (Matthew) Vejdovec, and Joseph (Monica) Gazso; and nine grandchildren, Jeremy, Luke, Gabrielle, Michael, Jacob, Nathan, Brandon, Ethan and Rebecca.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Gazso; and sister and brother-in-law, Joan (Donald) Perruchon.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Monday, April 15, 2013, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 6303 Center Road, Valley City, OH.
The family requests donations to be made in Charles’ name to the Holy Family Home and Hospice, 6707 State Road, Parma, OH 44134.
