CHARLES RONALD HOKINS

Charles R. Hokins died peacefully on Friday January 3, 2025 at the age of 85.

Ron was born in Vindex, MD, a lumber and coal mining town on a tributary of the Potomac River on May 21, 1939.

He is survived by his beloved and treasured wife, Gertie and sons Scott and Steve Ashie.

Ron is preceded in death by his sister Virginia Patton.

Ron was a proud Veteran of the US Army and Ohio National Guard. Ron worked as a Motor Balancer at Ford Motor and after 30+ years retired in 1997. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a great story teller and would always share his battle with animals trying eat the plants in his vegetable garden. So if you have time "Come and tell a story and say Hello"

Family will receive family ands friends Saturday January 18, from 10 to 11 in Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
