CHARLES ERNEST MILLER

Charles Ernest Miller, 76, of Windham, passed away at his home in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. He was born June 24, 1935 to Collins and Blanche (Kennedy) Miller in Windham, OH.
Charles graduated from Windham High School and opened Miller’s Clothing and Footwear in Garrettsville with his brother Robert. He was a former Boy Scout Troop Leader, and was also a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, Lake Erie Region. Charles enjoyed, fishing, camping, woodworking, car restoration, working in the yard, snow mobiling, trips to Canada, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Geraldine ( Miller ); children Kathy Miller of Newton Falls, David ( Penny ) Miller of Warren, and Mary ( David ) Croft of Kent; and grandchild Matthew Croft of Kent. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, and sister Wilma May.
Friends may join the family for visitation Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
