Charles "Chuck" Albert Plues Sr, age 72, of Chippewa Lake, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. He was born on October 16, 1949, in Medina to Harold and Alretta(Hicks) Plues.
A Vietnam Veteran, Chuck proudly served in the United States Army. Chuck was an outdoorsman at heart, he loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan to his core. Chuck also enjoyed tinkering on cars and his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Charles A. (Bobbie Baier) Plues Jr., Tim (Missy) Plues, and Melanie Woodrum; grandchildren, Diamond (Ray) Hannahs, Trace, Rhionna, Valerie, and Madison; siblings, Harold (Cindy) Plues, Bob Plues, Rita Miller, Lenny Leeds, Maryann (Dick) Guetter, Bill (Liza) Plues, and Loreli (Tom) Brock; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Linda Plues; and brother-in-law, Chuck Miller.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd.(1/2 mile south of Route 303), Brunswick, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, November 12, 2021, in Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services - Brunswick. Interment will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, Seville at 10:00 AM.
