CHARLOTTE SIMONS STARKEY

Charlotte Simons Starkey, age 64, of Newton Falls, OH, peacefully passed away on October 1, 2024. She was born on August 24, 1960 in Barberton, OH, to Paul and Sally Simons (nee Sisson). 

Charlotte (aka Charlie, Aunt Char, Aunt Chuck) enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her favorite place to be was “at the farm with the fam.” 

Our beloved Charlotte will be deeply missed by her children: Jesse (Jody) Starkey of Nelson, Frank (Felicia) Starkey of California, Lucy Chatfield of Warren, Richie (Kristal) Chatfield of Warren, and Cody (Miranda) Chatfield of Rootstown; her sisters: Pam (Bill) Malolepsi of Lake Milton, Paula (David) Carroll of Garrettsville, and Denise (Tom) Frey of Newton Falls; her Aunt Carlene (Ron) Nader of Mantua and her sister-in-law Chrissy (Frey) Simons, and ALOT of grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends whom she loved dearly.

She now joins her parents, Paul “Sonny” and Sally Simons, her brothers, Paul Jr., Don and Phillip Simons, and two of her children, Melissa Ann Starkey and Gary Lee Starkey. 

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, and announced by her family. Care for Charlotte was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville OH 44231.
