C. ELAINE MRAVETZ

Cheryl Elaine Mravetz (nee Shingleton), age 74, of Sharon Center Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 15. She was born on June 6, 1947, to Clarence and Pearl Mae Shingleton.

She enjoyed freestyle canoeing, adaptive paddling, canoeing sojourns, volunteering her time, singing in the church choir, gardening. She also loved animals, spending time with family and friends. She was a parishioner of Sharon Center United Methodist Church.

Elaine is survived by her spouse of 41 years Robert J. Mravetz. Her children Stephen Sean (Kristin) Sudduth, Matthew (Tara) Mravetz, Lisa (Michael) Sudduth, Peter (Arianne) Mravetz. Her grandchildren Murphy, Noah, Luke, Lily, Vi, Sage. Her siblings Marlene (Sid) Jackson, Bruce (Rebecca) Shingleton, and Denise (Joe) Deegan and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Shingleton and Pearl Mae Shingleton.

Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation to honor Cheryl on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of Rte 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio 44256. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at Sharon Center United Methodist Church 6407 Ridge Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Inurnment will follow in Sharon Center Cemetery.
