CHRISTINE "CHRISSY" MARIE STERCULA

Christine “Chrissy” Marie Stercula, age 59 of Wadsworth, passed away on July 24, 2024.,

Chrissy was born in Akron, Ohio to Robert Jerome and Mary (Goodyear) Coghlan on May 18, 1965. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and was well known for cheerleading. She married Gary Stercula on October 2, 1999. Chrissy enjoyed gardening and hiking. She loved dogs and would take her dachshunds to the Annual Wiener Dog races in Berea, Ohio. Chrissy was a fixture at her children’s sporting events and was always there to cheer them on.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Terry and Tom Coghlan. Chrissy will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 24 years, Gary, children, Nicole (Jeff Boll) Bell, Diana (Chris) Dewan, Tony (Megan) Stercula, Katie (Sean) Leahy, grandchildren, Amelia Boll, Max Boll, Hank Boll, Cecelia Dewan, Vinny Stercula, Victoria Stercula, siblings, Tim (Judy) Coghlan, Colleen (Dr. Robert Connelly) Coghlan Custer, and Maureen (David) Urban, and her beloved dogs, Charlie and Gidget.

A Celebration of Life and lunch will be hosted by her family.  All are welcome to join them in the celebration.  Celebration of Life on August 3, from 11-3 at Sharon Center Town Hall, 6449 Ridge Road, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281.
