CHRISTOPHER T. LATAREWICZ

CHRISTOPHER T. LATAREWICZ, passed unexpectedly at home in Brunswick, Ohio at the age of 49.  Survived by children, Jarod and Kaylee Latarewicz; mother of his children, Cristy Berardi; brother, Jacek Latarewicz; sister, Julia Halabica (John); and many nieces and nephews. 

Chris was born July 27, 1974, in Zabrze, Poland to Wanda Latarewicz and the late Tadek Latarewicz. Chris came to the United States in July 1983.  He was an awesome brother to Jacek & little sister Julia, who adored him, giving him the nickname Kiwi. 

Chris graduated with high honors from Cleveland Magnet School of Arts and Sciences. He enjoyed soccer, track, and chess team. Next, he took flight training and loved flying over Lake Erie. Later, followed in his father’s footsteps becoming a master electrician. He was very dedicated to work, so proud when able to mentor others. He was also a big Cleveland sports fan.

Chris would definitely say his greatest achievement are his two children. Jarod, age 22, serving in the Marine Corps. Kaylee, age 19, attending community college. “Dad, your guiding hand on our shoulders will remain forever with us.” Rest in peace.

We invite all those who knew Chris to join us for a celebration of life on Wednesday, April 24th 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Carlson funeral home 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. Food & refreshments will be available. Parking and entrance to the community room will be in the back, walk down the ramp to enter.
