Clarence W. Martin, 92, of Ravenna, formerly of Windham, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, with his loving family at his side. He was born on March 26, 1927, in Ewing, Virginia to Harrison and Maggie (Hampton) Martin.
Clarence served his country in the Army during WWII. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching horse racing. He took great pride in working hard to provide for his family. He retired from Chase Brass in Euclid, Ohio after 30 years. After retirement he worked another 15 years at Ivex Paper Mill in Chagrin Falls.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha (Lee) Martin of 64 years and daughter Connie Martin, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Linda (Albert) Coulson, Ronald (Diane) Martin, Dennis (Beverly) Martin, Kenneth Martin, Robin (Patricia) Martin, William Martin, Gary Martin and Janet (John) Durnan; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He went on quietly working for those he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken. His wants were very few.
And most of the time his worries went unspoken too.”

Please join Clarence’s family for visitation on Monday, April 8, 2019, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. A Funeral Service for Clarence will be held at 12:00 following the visitation, with Pastor Darrell Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Windham Township Cemetery.
