Photo: Obituary:Claude R. Rundle, 91 of Hinckley passed away on August 26, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1920 in Columbia Station to William and Ella (nee Belle) Rundle. Mr. Rundle was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Claude was also a member of the Eagles, Elks and the VFW. He loved to tell stories and jokes. He was a Business Owner. He owned his own Air conditioning and refrigeration company. He also owned a tavern in Tionesta, Pennsylvania, known as the “Seldom Inn”. Claude made friends wherever he went. Claude loved his friends, family and his country. He will be missed by all. Surviving are his sons Thomas (Doris), Timothy (Regina) of Florida; daughter-in-law Jena; sisters Elizabeth and Doris, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son William, siblings Carl, Clair, Clyde, Charlotte, Rachel, Gertrude, and Alice; step sisters Grace and Ethel; step brothers Merle and Bernard. Friends may join the family for a Graveside Service with Military Honors on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Cemetery, 13900 West River Road, Columbia Station with reception to follow at the VFW Post # 9340, 25742 Royalton Road, Columbia Station.
