Clayton William Whitaker, 30 years old, of Garrettsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 14, 2010. He was born January 21, 1979 in Massillon, Ohio.
He was a graduate of James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville. Clayton was a truck driver. He raced mini outlaw sprint cars, enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, video games, and camping, and cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Clayton is survived by his mother and step-father, Misty (Joseph) Redpath of Garrettsville; father, Robbie Whitaker of Massillon; brother, Clinton (Elizabeth) Whitaker of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Danielle Whitaker of Massillon; grandparents, Johann Robinson of Barberton and Richard (Beverly) Redpath of Northfield; uncles, Melvin (Joyce) Robinson of Barberton and Marty (Janet) Robinson of Malvern; beloved nieces, Emma McGee and Raegan Whitaker and many loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Melvin Robinson and aunt, Peggy Robinson.
